  • 23 slices of fresh mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tablespoons ricotta cheese
  • A handful of fresh arugula
  • 1 Roma tomato, thinly sliced

  • Salt and pepper, to taste


Instructions

  1. Prepare the Ingredients:

    • Slice the Roma tomato into thin rounds.
    • Tear or chop the arugula into smaller pieces if needed.
    • Slice the mozzarella cheese if it isn’t pre-sliced.

  2. Toast the Ciabatta Bread:

    • Heat a skillet or griddle over medium heat. Lightly brush the ciabatta bread slices with olive oil or butter on the outside to get a nice, crispy texture.
    • Place the slices of bread in the skillet and toast them for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crispy. Remove the bread from the skillet.
  3. Assemble the Sandwich:

    • Spread ricotta cheese evenly on one slice of the toasted ciabatta.
    • Layer the mozzarella cheese slices on top of the ricotta.
    • Add the sliced Roma tomatoes on top of the mozzarella.
    • Top with a handful of fresh arugula.
