Ingredients
-
2 large apples (any variety you prefer)
-
2-3 tbsp peanut butter (creamy or chunky)
-
1/4 cup of chocolate chips (dark or milk chocolate)
-
2 tbsp shredded coconut (unsweetened)
-
A sprinkle of cinnamon
Instructions
- Core and slice the apples into thin, even
rounds. Arrange them in a single layer on a
plate or platter. - In a small microwave-safe bowl,
microwave the peanut butter for about 20-
30 seconds to soften it. Stir until smooth. If
you want it a bit thinner, you can add a tiny
splash of water or milk to reach your
desired consistency. - Drizzle the peanut butter evenly over the
sliced apples. Then, sprinkle the chocolate
chips and coconut shreds over the top as
well. - Optionally, sprinkle a dash of cinnamon for
extra flavor.
Notes
-
Nutty Delight: Add a handful of chopped almonds, walnuts, or pecans for some added crunch and protein.
-
Caramel Drizzle: Swap the peanut butter with a drizzle of caramel sauce for a sweeter, indulgent version.
-
Yogurt Topping: For a creamy, tangy contrast, add a dollop of Greek yogurt on top of the apple slices before drizzling peanut butter.
-
Dried Fruit: Add dried cranberries, raisins, or apricots for a chewy, fruity element.
-
Chocolate Variations: Use white chocolate chips or even drizzle melted chocolate over the apples for a different twist.
