Stop the Struggle—And Find Peace, weight concerns

Stop the Struggle — And Find Peace

If you are struggling with dieting or an eating disorder, it’s important to remember that you’re not alone. But it’s just as vital to know that it’s not your fault.

Weight loss approaches like diets, cleanses, detoxes, and fitness programs usually lead to spectacular failure. Additionally, disordered eating and eating disorders are not mental illnesses that you can simply “conquer” through willpower all on your own.

At Orozco Nutrition, we believe in a more holistic and compassionate approach… One that’s been shown to help time and time again.

Too many Americans try to take on issues around eating and dieting by themselves.

Evidence shows, however, that people in programs who take a non-dieting approach—with supportive, holistic, and individualized help—are more successful with their struggles.

We recognize how difficult it is to try to make changes, but we’ve also seen how much success and transformation our clients experience when they take things one small bite at a time.

Let us help you stop the struggle—and find peace with an intuitive, non-dieting approach.

Hear from one of our heroes

If my food relationship was a Facebook status, I’d say, “It’s complicated.” My first visits with David Orozco at Orozco Nutrition were filled with facts and new knowledge. As my Sherpa, David began untangling the web of food-related issues that were lying below the surface—kept there by my survival mode. Through gentle probing questions, David unlocked my curiosity to discover the why of my behaviors and thoughts. I discovered that my inner voice was interpreting incoming messages in a negative way and blocking my own progress. (In the caring environment of Orozco Nutrition, there are thoughtfully placed tissue boxes within arm’s reach for a very good reason!) In tandem with new curiosity, David suggests practical exercises and ways to initiate new interactions with food. While the food relationship journey is lifelong, I strongly recommend beginning with the team at Orozco Nutrition and the podcast, “One Small Bite.” You will be surprised at your own discovery and your move toward self-compassion!
