These wraps are simple yet packed with flavor, making them a perfect meal for any time of day. This recipe combines tender beef, warm lavash bread, and a vibrant blend of spices and vegetables, topped with juicy, fresh tomatoes that not only enhance the taste but also offer powerful health benefits.
One of the highlights of this wrap is the fresh tomato topping. Beyond their juicy sweetness and vibrant color, tomatoes are rich in lycopene, a powerful antioxidant. Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups of onion, chopped
- 1/2 cup parsley, chopped
- 1/4 cup mint, chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon sumac
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 LB ground beef
- 2 tablespoons avocado oil
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon sumac
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup water
- 6 Lavish wraps or tortillas
- 1 diced tomato
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine onion, parsley, mint, paprika, sumac, and salt. Mix and set aside
- Add ground beef to a bowl with 1 tablespoon of avocado oil, paprika, sumac, cumin, cayenne powder, and salt, and mix.
- Heat the remaining avocado oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Add the beef mixture to the pan and cook until it is no longer pink.
- Add water and cover until the water is fully absorbed and the beef sizzles in the pan.
- Spoon beef and onion mixture into a lavish wrap or tortilla, and top with diced tomatoes. Roll up and savor the melodies of flavor.
Notes
- Pair with a side of yogurt dip or tzatziki for a cooling contrast.
- Add pickled vegetables for extra crunch and tang.
